On Wednesday, 8/22, we drove over Mosquito Pass to Fairplay and returned by Weston Pass.

On Tuesday, 8/21, we had such a good time the day before we decided to explore more of the Granite area.

In August of 2018 we met a friend just south of Leadville, CO for some wheeling. On Monday, 8/20, we explored some back roads east of Granite, CO.

In July of 2018 we decided to take the red MJ on a weekend drive to Hart's Pass and the Slate Creek Mining District.

In January of 2018 I took the red MJ to the Whiskey Dick Unit of the L.T. Murray Wildlife Area.

On a wheeling trip in 2018 my wife had an unwanted visitor when a log got kicked up through the floor. Time for some rust repair.

In December of 2017 I took a trip to Yuma to visit my parents and brought the red MJ. My father and I did a lot of mine and back road exploring.

In 2016 I built some high clearance u-bolt plates.

Last spring I had the transmission rebuilt. The original rebuild was complete crap. It would not shift into overdrive. I dropped it off at Precision Transmission in Amarillo, TX on the way to visit a friend in OK. Loaded up and ready to go. Here are a couple of videos of what they found.

Since I got back from Moab it hasn't been used much. We've been focusing on a lot of projects at the new property and I'm not moving anywhere near as fast as I used to. But, I did get some Christmas presents in 2021 for the next phase. Some of which I am working on right now for another Moab trip at the end of April. The rear link kit will have to wait, but the ACOS and front sway bar are going on now.

By Sunday, 9/26, it was just down to my father and I. We did Hurrah Pass, Chicken Corners, and Jackson Hole.

First trail day in Moab was Monday, 9/20 on Steel Bender.

Spent over a week at Canyonlands Campground in Moab.

In September of 2021 I met my old club, Cascade 4x4s, in Moab. Stopped at Bluff Fort and Newspaper Rock on the way.

Not much happened with it for several months. Towards the end of 2020 we started shopping for a house. We found a great place in western NM. The end of 2020, beginning of 2021 was spent closing on the house and making plans. We made a trip with the red MJ in March of 2021 and spent a couple of months in NM. We went back to WA in May for a few months and then permanently moved to NM in August. The blue MJ and Samurai made the August trip to NM.

I tore it apart when I got home and discovered that the snap ring that holds the inner shaft to the CV ball had popped out of its groove. It ended up shoved passed the splines on the axle shaft which allowed the CV ball and shaft to eventually separate. Thankfully RCV covered it under warranty.

Another snow run in February of 2021 on the forest service roads SE of Wilkeson. This was the first trip with the RCVs installed. After a couple of hours the passenger axle shaft worked its way out and I had to turn back.

Also went on a snow run to Towhead Gap in January of 2021.
