I just drove it through a automatic car wash in November in Alaska then I shipped the Comanche had it delivered to my door a month later and it did not magically fix it's self for some reason..... I am trying to track down a tcu now, I will look at the plug on the passenger side of the engine now.

Well I found out I pulled the wrong tcu fuse I found the real one and sure enuff I pull it and not I can shift it manually so my best guess is I need a new tcu.

Well I just unhooked and sprayed down the connectors of the tps, no luck as of yet. I disconnected the fuse to the tcu and it does not allow me to shift manually. Still trying stuff out.

So I have a 1990 4x4 with the 4.0 and a auto it was running great until I took it into the car wash and now the Comanche will not shift out of first. I checked the fuse and got underneath it and found nothing obvious disconnected. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

It is a nice one with no rust that was at a good price, shipping was not too horriable either pop says it runs great we are going to go throught it before the trip. I would go to the boneyards but I am not due back in country for a few months yet. I will post some photos soon, I can not get to any sites like photobucket or anything from a restricted computer. Hey guys I just picked up a 1990 comanche eliminator in oregon from ebay had it shipped to JAX Florida and will drive it in a few months to my home in Anchorage AK in a bucket list worthy road trip with my father. Well it has all of the other emblems but i am missing one 4x4 emblem. I was wondering if anybody has an extra one that they would be willing to part with and take payment via paypal. Thanks Scott
