Ok, so let me introduce myself, I have just picked up a 87 MJ, 2wd 4cyl shortbed. I am an avid Jeep fan, currently have a very well setup XJ.
Plans for the MJ are as follows:
Strip it to bare metal, build a 4 point cage, plate and gusset all of the frame. Swap over the suspension from my XJ ( Fox 2.0 with resi;s and air bumps on all four corners, TNT LA kit with a SOA in the rear) Probably build a Ford 8.8) And then drop in a stroked 4.6.
