@87manche1 yes thats what I'm talking about. and yea i have a 87 with the 4.0 but i have this stupid 3 speed auto and i have no idea why :/ its original to never had a motor or tranny swap.

my a904 has the fuel gauge where you see where you shift (Park drive and all that stuff) does anyone know where the clip goes? for the a904 3 speed auto trans in 1987 comanche pioneer

I looking to find a few parts that my 88 donor didnt have or didnt match my 87. i need seat belt retractor. (not the whole thing just the 2 cirle pieces with the thin metel that makes it retract... :dunno: lol on the left there is a cover, i need whats under the cover... :thumbsup: lol (my 88 looked different so i guess its only in 86/87?) the switch for the power trans (for some reason mine was super glued on comfort so just say now i have to replace it.) let me know, we can talk cash or maybe ill have something on my donor truck you might need, thanks for your time Not My Pictures

I Looked up on the site and couldnt find anything. I'm swapping the blue interior out of my 87 pioneer with gray interior out of a 88 pioneer. Is there a way i can put my VIN plate on the gray dash i wanna put in my truck?

So I am in the middle of doing my interior. i pulled a cluster from a 88 mj pioneer. but i noticed the gear shifter thing ( Park Reverse Drive ECT.) is located on my cluster. My shifter being behind my steering wheel. my question being is it located behind the cluster or is it part of the cluster? ill post pictures I'm sure i just confused everybody lol this is my cluster (Not my photo) this is the cluster i want to install sorry for small picture thanks for the help

well back when i first bought my mj i had to do that but now i don't. and its the same starter lol i have no idea

might sound stupid but i used a hammer and tapped lightly on the starter and its works sometimes.

ive had this overheating problem that came out of nowhere. i drained the coolant, new reservoir tank, & i just bought brand new thermostat. now i just started it up (i havent started it for about a week) it is running weird. such as its bubbling and smoking from the bottom of the house (i put a new gasket...) and it seems to be idling high? i know theidle can't be the tps because i just replaced that not that long ago. i don't how high it idling because i don't have an rpm on my cluster. i do have an installed temperature one but for some reason its not working out of the blue. but does any one have an idea why I'm overheating? 87 pioneer 4.0

My Comanche was painted with this green primer years ago. I would paint over it but i really would like the original blue back. Does anybody know how to remove primer without removing the original paint? Recently it has been flaking off, i was told to use Easy Off oven cleaner which did work for alittle but some spots just won't leave! He is some pictures to show how this is making my jeep look ugly. this is what it looks like after i used the easy off this is before the easy off (Below) This is when the green started to fade away and turn to blue
