Started putting engine together today. Got into the chiltons book to find torque specs for connecting rod bolts. Seems I found everything but that!! Does anyone have them for 87 2.5 MJ? Think I can have it together tommorrow if I get that One little bit of info. Thanks

Had to go .040 on mine. Got .030 pistons,thats what the machine shop told me!! Now I have to send back and order new pistons. Wanted to put it together this weekend. Not now!! Everything else is ready to go. I'll keep the posts coming about the progress.

I'm very new with this forum stuff as well as my jeep. Please forgive me for not including everything. Is their something I need to do to the tranny cross member if I am going to lift my truck to fit 35" tires? I indeed have a dana 44 in the rear and a dana30 in the front.

What do I need too do to put 35" Tires on my Manche? Have heard lots of stuff. I really need to just talk to someone with a brain so I can stop chasing my tail! I don't mind cutting stuff. I just don't know where to start. :evil:
