m0brando
Okay I have a dumb question-- any idea how to get the fogs off the bumper on a '91 XJ without breaking them? There's a 15mm nut on the end of the stud and a 3/4" or so nut behind that. The 15 mm won't budge and the 3/4 will loosen down to the point that it hits the 15mm nut. I can put my impact on the 15 and make it move I'm sure but I wanted to see what the trick is before I break something! thanks! Brandon
CWLONGSHOT
Most of the time is easier to just remove the mounting brackets WITH the bumper. Get yourself a good penetrating oil. I like to spray them for a couple days before attempting removal. But this will depend on the amount of corrosion you have on your rig. Good luck, CW
m0brando
The bumper is off ... I just need to get the fog lights off the bumper and am wanting to be sure that putting the torque to that 15mm nut is the right thing to do. thanks!
