deziped
Has anyone tried to repair the wire connections inside the back of a NSS? I have a broken wire/connection some where between the contacts & where the wires come out of the grommet. It looks to me like this would be nearly impossible with the hard casing material covering the back side. What yuh think, time to take a trip to JY for a replacement.? If I pick up another one I'm going to take a screwdriver & hammer to the old one & see if I can get in there, but me thinks its probally like a block of cement. Better yet I think I will put the butane to it & see if any of it will melt down for a look inside. It's probally a circuit board lurking under there. +

deziped
Appreciate your response. Thats a good link if your looking to clean/realign your NSS, which I'am not. I'm wondering about repairing a bad connection or broken wire inside the rear half of the NSS which is not visible to the human eye. After looking at the switch again it appears to be a throw away if internal problems should occur. [/u]
