AW4 shift cable

I’m about 90% done with my auto swap on my Comanche . Originally a 5 speed and one of my last roadblocks is the shift cable . I’ve seen conflicting info on if the hole for it is there or not but i don’t feel it so i think I’ll have to drill it . I found this picture on the forum but My question is what interior has to come out to access the spot to drill . I don’t want to pull any more than i have to .
