JeepcoMJ
putting peugot ba10/5 21 spline np231 t-case onto an ax5 4wd with geonovast this weekend. the input shafts are different length. anyone know what the adapter seal is? it has to go on because the np207 is a mechanical/cable driven speedo (and we don't have the parts for it), and his truck is a 91 4 cylinder so it has an electronic speedo. any help here would be hot...we're doing this truck this weekend, already have the 2wd tranny out and new clutch in with external slave cylinder, so we really need to get this part a.s.a.p. or if anyone knows the parts for the t-case end of the speedo cable, and the speedo gears, that would help too cause I think I can adapt that with the electric end
comancheon33
Can't you swap the speed sensor into the mechanical speedo gears place? I swapped out 91 23 spline 242 for an 89 21 spline 231 along time ago. I split the cases swapped inputs and then unbolted the mechanical speedo gear housing and slid the speed sensor right back in. comancheon33
I understand. How about swapping the tailhousings then? I am not not real sure about the 207. I have thrown all of them I have ever had in the junk pile.
