RiversideMJ
Hey guys, I just changed my fuel injectors and injector connectors. Of course I had to disconnect the fuel rail, and when i went to connect again I thought it all clipped in good. I decided to prime the fuel pump to make sure no gas leaked before turning on the engine, but there was a leak from the hose that takes the gas into the fuel rail. Not sure if the plastic fuel connector is damaged or if it is the hose. Any tips/hints on what could be wrong. RiversideMJ
Okay sweet! So you used the HK7/NAPA fitting on the rear and it fit fine?
RiversideMJ
Just took a look at pics I posted, looks like I am missing the o-rings so thats probably why I am leaking.

Yep. Hk7 kit includes the o-rings. I think they are green in color. They are absolutely essential. These are gas-resistant o-rings, you cannot use hardware-store o-rings they will not work. Good luck with it!
RiversideMJ
Reviving this thread to see if anyone else can guide me here. The o-ring kit solved the original leak issue but now it seems the fitting is leaking. So the fitting is no good. I ordered a Dorman Fuel fitting (800-120) and it looks like it would fit the fuel rail but when I got to bottom of truck, there is no connection. The fuel hose is also tearing so I’d like to replace it all. Any tips/suggestions? Don’t feel like taking it to a shop if it’s a simple fix
