Htchevyii
This is the first time that I've run into this, but my power steering pump started leaking from between the pump and reservoir. Normally, I'd just buy a new pump, but I've had terrible luck with both reman pumps and new Chinese pumps and I think those are the only options. This pump is quiet and seems to work well. Basically, there are just 2 clips that slide off and the two just pull apart. There's a little tab that needs to be bent up until you get it started, then they slide right off. The clips are different, the shorter side goes towards the plastic reservoir. The o ring seems to be a metric 3mm section with and around a 14 or 15mm. My kits didn't have any that thick and the local ACE was out so I ended up using one from a low mileage reman pump that had noisy bearings. I have also heard that a malfunctioning cap can cause pressure build up and leaks, so I went ahead and threw on a new cap.
