Renix fuel pump/ HO swap 2.5 sending unit..

Hi everyone, I’m in the process of doing a  4.0 Ho swap into my 87 2.5. 
I’ve searched a bit, but can’t find a definitive answer on these questions, maybe you guys could give me some insight, it would be greatly appreciated!

I have a 2.5 tbi sending unit, I intended to remove my renix fuel gauge  from the cluster, and install it into a HO cluster (92 xj is my donor for wiring) the sending unit and matching gauge will be the correct polarity and resistance to work correctly. Next is fuel pump/fuel pressure. Anyone know if I can run a renix 4.0 fuel pump with a HO injection setup? From what I’ve read, they run the same Psi, 31-39. 
lastly, attaching the 4.0 pump to the 2.5 sending unit. I don’t have the parts in front of me, have to order a pump soon, and the jeep is a few hours away (can only work on it on weekends) before I pull the trigger on buying a pump, figured I’d see if anyone has experience with what I’m attempting, thanks!
