dieing headlights

hey all. happy st pat's day/night

 

my query is the headlights on das mj, of 1991 vintage, 4.0, 2wd (i know..working on it...) they died out on my earlier tonight as i was driving with 2 freinds to the bar, they came back on for a bit after a bump, but then died again, never to be seen again. i drove them home and me with the 4way's on, suprisingly didn't get pulled, ride everywhere, no worries, didn't touch a drop, but still, no headlights? tail lights were fine. any ideas on where to start?

Bad ground.

Begin checking in the front near/behind the lights.

might also want to look at the headlight switch. Switch and ground are the most likely culprits, with ground being most likely.

hehe, found the problem, the plug was loose, the one going to the headlights...thanks guys!
