krustyballer16
So I'm looking at redoing my current fire/burn pit next spring. Looking at ideas. Currently I just have 2 layers of square landscape blocks around a ~42" burn area. It's been used for years to burn everything. So under all the ash is nails and metal and whatever else. So itll all need dug out. Thinking about setting it in the ground a foot or so. I have one of those 5' metal expanded metal patio table tops that I thought about sitting on top of the open pit so ashes could fall thru. I'm wanting a pit to use as somewhat of a burn pit and entertainment and also to learn to campfire/cast iron skillet cook on... can't have a huge fire in it cuz theres power lines above it. This is the only spot I have room for a pit also. Open to all ideas and pictures. And stories of your experiences.
