Comanche runs only with the key held on run.

Run a new wire from the relay to the fuel pump? You don't need the ballast resister. That was added in 1988 for the sole purpose of reducing the noise on the fuel pump inside the cabin of the Cherokee. The first 4.0L vehicles, in 1987, didn't have ballast resistors.

Well got back on working on the Comanche. After checking the relays the other day before I left cane back and checked the fuel pump relay it’s self and come to find out it was the culprit. Put a new one on and now runs good. Now that it’s running now to find out what all else is wrong with it. Thank you guys for all the input.
