bigmistake
Picked up a second gen Ranger topper - it fits really well! There is a tiny gap in the bed and topper near the cab (maybe a quarter of an inch?)... I could push the topper forward to cover it, but then it might be too close to the cab. I'm not sure what appropriate gaps are between beds and campers.
87sparTruck
That looks about the right distance. I have a Ranger with a cap and it's about an 1-2 inch gap between the cab and topper. I would find some foam adhesive stripping to fill the gap if the topper has an opening between itself and the bed. It's better than having the topper hit the cab on every bump.
