CCjeep88
Ok, guys new to just form. I looked over a lot of write ups and can't seem to get the answers I need. To start off I've had and have lots of Jeeps, I have always wanted a MJ but could never found one in good shape for a good price. So when I ran across this 87 Mj for a steal I bought it. Now I have donor Xjs that will make turning this 2wd into 4wd pretty easy and I'm adding about 7.5" of lift also. So my question is What do I need to change (wiring) to make a 94 tranasmission and t case from an XJ work on my 87 MJ? I am also going to update this from as I build the MJ. I know a 94xj isn't the best year to pick but I picked up a 94 running and driving xj for free. I have a 98 that I build and love it so i really don't wanna sacrifice it. My goal with this Mj is for it to be my dd and toy. This is going to be a half year to a full year build. I was going to rebuild the 4.0l, the transmission, the axles, t case everything on the truck will be rebuilt or new. So should I just gut it completely and swap everything from the xj? desbennett004
What's your 87 got in it? What's your 94 got in it? Both auto? Both Manual? One of each? Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
