Mountainlife
I'm new to this group(couldn't find a introduction thread) and to jeeps. I bought a 91 MJ pioneer. It's in pretty good shape with only 90,000 miles on it. The only thing that I can discern that needs to be fixed right away is it needs new tires and it grinds going into reverse and some times won't go into 1st(seems to be a jeep thing). I've already researched the latter, going to do new fluids and pennzoil synchromesh. So i'm wondering what trucks I could pull parts from(besides XJs, cab forward). I'm thinking mainly accessories such as head ache racks, rear bumpers etc. I've searching all over the web and can't seem to find the things I'm looking for. I would really like a head ache with built in bed rails. Also can't find a rear bumper with a swing out tire mount. Has any one on here built ether of these two things themselves?
