mik666
Hey gang Ok so I stuck some of the R12a stuff in my AC - it blows cold - GREAT! , but man i was smelling something "unusual" under the hood while filling - the hose coming off the compressor going up to the radiator area (the hi port side i guess - not the one where i filled the compressor with) has a leak and was spewing the refrigerant out as fast as it went in - fck!!! Anyway the jeep is an 87, 4.0 - so my question - what's that hose called so i can replace it with proper part (part # be great is anyone knows it as the local autoparts store is more jeeptarded than i am), is it specific for an 87, and should I get an other parts (o rings ? etc) ? thx! mike
HOrnbrod
You either have factory or American (dealer installed) A/C, different hoses. I'd call These Guysand ask them or take off your old hose and have a duplicate made locally.
