uncleben03 Posted July 6, 2015 Share Posted July 6, 2015 I'm replacing the right front fender on my MJ due to a small rust issue. The entire truck except that is basically rust free, so instead of repair it, I'm replacing it. The fender is still in really good shape with surface rust that I ground off around the mounting holes for the fender flare retainer strips. The biggest bare metal spot is thin enough to push in and out with your finger after removing the rust. The other bare spots are not that thin at all. Inside of the fender appears to be rust-free. I'll probably try to remove the Comanche badge with a heat gun, though. Figure this has to be better than a lot of other OEM fenders available.
