bed rails and spray on bedliner

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if rubber bed rails can be purchased for a Comanche Short Bed? I have found a source where you have to cut and fit, but would prefer to find one designed for a Comanche. Also, has anyone had any experience with the spray on bedliners? My bed is in great shape, but was considering a liner for practical purposes. Apparently no one makes the drop in liner anymore for a Comanche. Thanks!

I can't stand the drop in liners.  Aside from looking bad, they trap moisture and dirt and wear through paint. If used long enough they can cause your bed to rot out.  I don't have line-x on my MJ because it isn't nice enough to justify, but I had it on a Chevy 1500 I used to drive and it was excellent.  My buddy has it in his Colorado and it holds up really well, looks good, and keep s stuff from sliding around too much.  My MJ bed came with DIY bedliner.  I'm not sure which brand, I suspect duplicolor or whatever, but it is garbage.  It's not rubberized, it's a very course, abrasive texture that either scratches whatever you set on it or gets scraped and chips off the truck.  I vote Line-x if you can swing it.
