CJ's MJ
I started checking into some of my wiring issues. I saw this in the service manual and am curious as to what they are. Looking at mine they look fairly worn. Is this something that is important to have or can it be bypassed? Before today I never knew they existed. Lol Any input would greatly be appreciated. Eagle
A fusible link is what the name implies -- a fuse. The purpose is to break if a short circuit or overload makes it too hot. Fusible links should not be bypassed unless you put a conventional fuse or circuit breaker in the bypass.
