JeepsOLot
Ok, I give up on the damn search. Having issues with getting fuel to the fuel rail, AGAIN. Now, supposedly, the PO replaced the pump and fuel rwgulator, didn't look like it to me, but someone said it was a newer style. I replaced it with a new one. I had pressure at the fuel rail up until last night. Getting ready to check and clean fuel injectors, but, thought I would try one more time. Pump comes on, seems to build pressure, but nothing at the test valve on the fuel rail! When I was testing it before I replaced the regulator, I put a pair of vise gripes on the return line, and, with the new pump, I had pressure. After I replaced the regulator, I had pressure at the rail. Not sure what happened, but, today, nothing, even when I put the vise grip back on the return line. I'm wondering, if the lines got switched at the sending unit, I made sure that, when I took everything out to swap out the pump, that the lines stayed as they were. Does anyone know, off hand, which outlet is supposed to go to what? Thanks, again! Jerry
JeepsOLot
Another possibility, I hope not, that the fuel line came off the pump inside the tank. Jerry
