2000 Focus Vin P 2.0 Sohc Swap To Zetec Dohc

Anyone ever done it? Buddy of mine has an 00 that dropped several valve seats and threw a rod in one go. Can buy a 120k mile 01 zetec parts car for $400, or just a zetec motor for $350 from a yard, or a used, prone to failure SOHC used longblock with unknown miles for $850

 

My understanding is that I will need to swap the ac pump, condenser, half shafts, passenger engine mount, some accessories, ECM, engine harness with fuel pump pigtail, and fuel pump.

 

This is a small ordeal to swap, just want to know if anyone has first hand experience. I'm swapping the motor and trans so it is out of the shop quicker...we can do all the prep work on the parts before the car ever comes in, which will just make it easier to deal with.
