So you can't fry the egg without breaking the shell, Jim, but maybe you can hard boil it instead? ;) Thanks for the tip, Harley. I've already gotten some thick foam to put between the box and the bed so it won't scratch. I like the J hook idea. I'll have to try that out.

 

I wouldn't call myself an originality nut, but I do appreciate trying to keep a nice thing nice if I can, and the bed of this truck is immaculate other than some scratches in the bed.
