NH_JeepBuilder
Hey everyone, new to this site. I just picked up a 86 Comanche, it has a motor, drive train and axles from a 91 Cherokee(4.0 automatic). Not sure of the gear ratio in those axles... It also has a "5" inch lift already installed (5" coils upfront and spring over in the rear). The interior has been taken apart but all the electrical has been neatened up and all ready to be put back together. I know that it needs a new fuel pump, sending unit, radiator, serpentine belt, AC delete pulley, front and rear brake lines. I have ordered everything I need to get it running, I now just need the time to put it all in. My plans for this rig are to swap the front coils out for some 7-8 inch lift coils, RC long arm kit, rear 2" shackle and maybe and AAL to match up with the front. SS extended brake lines front and rear. I have a set of Cherokee axles(HP30 and chrysler 8.25) with 4.56 gears that I would like to swap into it. 35" pro comp M/T's on some black steelies I have kicking around. Home made bumpers front and rear, front will have a RC 9500 lb winch that I was going to use on my YJ buggy I was building. Cut out the rockers and weld in some 2x6 tube for rocker rocker protection. and maybe build a rack for behind the rear window. Will post up pictures as soon as I can.
