rockhumpingMJ
So here's the skinny on the jeep I got it over a year ago from a buddy of mine for $650! He had gotten side swipped by a chick with no insurance and being to nice he let her go so its not the straightest body but it will work for my plans:) so when my friend got it it was running like it had a giant cam in it we pulled the head off to find out that the person before him that rebuilt the motor had over heated it and cracked a piston. The jeep runs fantastic off idle though with a slight blue.cloud of smoke behind it. But still has more power then any of the jeeps I've been in(all 91+) so enough with the background. I picked up a motor out of a friend's jeep that fought fire...which used to be mine. The motor had 160k on it when I pulled it out of the 96 Cherokee the fire department decided to stick their hose down the intake for what ever reason and fill it up with water. So I rebuilt the motor bored it .040 over and I'm sticking a comp cam 232-4 In it. Still waiting on my keepers for it to throw it together. Anyways back to the manche. It's a 91 long bed 4wd 5speed 4.0 my intention was to chop the whole rear frame off and truggy it but my pockets aren't deep enough for that right now.so what I'm doing is moving the axle forward around 12-13 inches then chopping the bed down and throwing it back together so far what I have done is the bed is off the perches are off and I moved the front spring perches where I want them and welded them up I'm waiting tell next week to set the shackle angle and burn the hangers on I will be updating this as much as possible

rockhumpingMJ
Got a little more done on the truck today. Cut the bed down a bit. Probably shouldn't have had a few drinks while doing it kinda didn't cut straight lol. Still need to cut the bed down a few more inches and then add some metal to the front to straighten it out then I will weld it back together
