Goose Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Are they the same whether the trans is auto or manual? A friend of mine is scrapping his 87 Cherokee and I'm going over to cannibalize anything I need off it for free. It's an auto.
ParadiseMJ Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 The Automatic uses a Neutral Safey Switch (NSS) tha incorporates the back up light switch. The Manual just uses a screw in "ball" switch. The good news is that the switch for the manual is much cheaper and much easier to install.
