258 stroker donor engine / D44 Detroit locker. SE WI

Ive got a 258 out of a 1988 YJ that was a nice and good running jeep until it slid into a guard rail. Jeep had less than 100k miles on it. I took the head off of it with plans to put a 4.0 head on it to run in another vehicle but that never happened.

Also have a slightly used Dana 44 Detroit locker for 3.92 gear ratio and up. Was in jeep for about 1500 miles until taken out in favor of an air locker. New they are around $600.

I wish you weren't 1500 miles away. That 258 could be the

basis of a good motor. I don't dare guess what it would cost

to ship that thing.
