My father bought a 1989 MJ with the 4.0 and Peugot transmission but after two slave cylinder failures he's decided he wants to get rid of the BA10 and put an auto in. Trouble is the donor is a 1992 XJ with the AW4. I've got the AW4 pulled and I've stripped down the wiring harness from the XJ so I just have everything TCU related but I'm having trouble figuring out how to splice it into the MJ harness. Can anyone help? The electrical manual for a '92 XJ would be great :). I've got the one for the '88 MJ from the DIY forum. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ParadiseMJ Posted July 15, 2012 Share Posted July 15, 2012 I am right there with you, same swap...I have the tranny in, my donor is the same, my MJ is an 88 and I have the 88 info. I posted here but was disappointed in the response.
