Garvin Posted July 2, 2012 Share Posted July 2, 2012 Figured I'd give this a shot. Removed the factory gas tank from my '86 Comanche, it had the 2.8L V6. I believe this is the 23 gallon tank although last time I filled it it took 25? :dunno: It includes everything: both straps, sending unit, filler hoses (no fill neck as I reused that), and can include the stock plastic trim pieces that bolt underneath (wouldn't really call them skid plates since they wouldn't really stop much). Not sure if this will fit the '87+ ones as this was a carb'd truck. Has no holes and very little rust if any. Only reason I took it out is because I put a fuel cell in the bed when I went fuel injected on the 350. Not sure really what to ask for it, lets start at $100 obo. If it doesn't sell then I'll be keeping it so I'm in no real rush. Prefer local pickup as I'm not sure if any carrier will ship a used fuel tank and if they do, I'm sure it'll be pricey as the tank is fairly large.
