I made it 4x4 5speed, swapped the rear for a locked 4.10 8.8, and a matched 30 front. then put the 4.0 ho and an ax15 and a 231 a few years ago. now the head is either cracked or just blew the gasket, and the harnesses that i got from the donor XJ were not that great. someone had kind of hacked them up. I pulled the harnesses and the engine last night and am going to pull the 96 XJ i just picked up apart today so...... if someone has been down this road before and knows of some issues i might run into please let me know. I know the pilot bearing is different in the later years. I know the fuel system has changed a bit. I'm going to build a line i've got the russel adapters to go to jic, but will the pump from the 96 XJ go into the MJ thanks for any help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
