Hammer
So I'm new to the jeep world. I bought a Comanche a while back and it already had a nine inch lift on 35s and I'm doing a full width axle swap out of a 78 bronco cuz i found out the stock axles just aint strong enough after i broke the rear axle shaft. I got the rear end all in now I'm working on the front axle not sure how to make the supports for the d44 I was thinking about taking the long arms tht were on there and cutting them and taking the radius arms off of the d44 and basically putting them together is this is a good idea? Or can I buy aftermarket? Also if u hav any other tips about owning a Comanche tht I should know. Thanks

JeepcoMJ
Cut the radius arm edges off the axle as they should b bee non cast in a78 and make the property mounts, or buy them. There are plenty of companies that make upper and lower mounts, coil buckets, etc. you would have under 300 into doing it right, and no risk of the axle falling out. Don't do half @$$.
