goldtooth Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 anyone tried to put the newer 3 wire style plastic speedo gear housing in place of the older 2 wire metal housing? the reason i ask is the newer shorter replacement speedo gears are everywhere while the older, longer ones are hard to come by. i know the newer housing fits in but don't know if the wiring will be compatible. nathan
