Backroads Posted April 5, 2011 Share Posted April 5, 2011 Kind of a longshot but I've been kicking myself ever since I got rid of my MJ. Specs: 1990 Jeep Wrangler yj 2.5 TBI AX-5 5speed NP231 Dana 30/35 4:10's Clean tub, some bubbling paint rust spots, but no rot and no rust holes. Frame is also in excellent shape, some surface rust but very solid, no holes no worry spots. Right now just shackle lift stuff: Since I've owned it I replaced the engine with a newer 2.5. Brand new soft top the end of last summer Mint CJ7 hardtop and some ugly @$$ hard doors for winter Hand throttle Posi-lock for 4x4 since the vacuum disco went out Tuffy overhead console 20MM ammo can center console herculined floor, only small rust holes in drivers side floor (less than the size of a dime) new hubs this winter newer 15gal steel tank TJ rubicon flares extras: chrysler 8.25 rear end, 4:10 gears with aussie locker (needs perches flipped) spare TC 231 CJ-7 front clip, (hood and grill with complete harness/lights) excellent shape most of an MPFI swap, complete wiring harness, some brackets etc. 20gal poly gas tank + skid needs: Exhaust badly, it was pieced together when I got it and I just havent put the money into fixing it. needs ball joints up front on both sides, as well as TREs on the steering. Possibly needs rear brakes (had the other axle to go in so didnt do that yet) inspected til JUNE 2011 It runs and drives fine, been daily driving it for months. Its a little loose in the front end because of worn out parts, steering clunks a little. Needs a lot of little this and that kind of stuff, but overall just rehab parts. The trans is good, 2nd gear is a little sticky when cold. Engine is good, but is slow and loud (exhaust again). Not trying to sugarcoat anything here, with all the parts I have you could have a NICE jeep. Just due to illness I don't have the time or energy to lay under it in the garage anymore! *right now its sitting on 32" Bighorns on steel wheels. These can go or stay depending on what your trading. I'd prefer to keep them on my cherokee. Looking for any year comanche (prefer newer obviously) 4.0 5 speed a must. Long or short bed, but would prefer a long bed and 4X4 a must. Looking for something I can just get in and drive, and tinker with on weekends. Located in SE PA 19344, willing to drive for serious offers.
