bbe Posted December 6, 2010 Share Posted December 6, 2010 I can't get the drivers side door to open. The key will not effect it nor the lever handle inside. I am trying to get the panel off, i'm pretty sure something is disconnected or broke between the lever and latch but with the door closed am having trouble getting it loose. Automan2164 Posted December 6, 2010 Share Posted December 6, 2010 The lock or latch rod might have came loose at the latch. Get that panel off, and try to reach over there to see if you have a loose rod. A rod not getting enough travel would also be a problem. Have you tried to lock/unlock it with a key? Rob L. bbe Posted December 7, 2010 Author Share Posted December 7, 2010 I have been trying to get the panel off but there is not enough room between it and the seat so far. What is the trick on the plastic connectors holding the links together? I sure could use some help here. I don't want to cut the panel, it is pretty nice. I am visiting my brother in the wilds of TN.
