pederl Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 I put a brand new gas tank on my 89 Comanche but it won't start. There are no obstructions in the fuel lines and it starts if you spray starting fluid into the intake. My dad thinks the sending unit is shot because its rusty and its probably the origional one but i just need to make sure.
Geonovast Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Do a fuel pressure test. Did you make sure you got the sending unit plugged in? Are the fuel lines on the correct spots on the sending unit? Was the pump ever taken off the sender?
