mikeviera
I have a 1988 4x4 I6 jeep comanche.... I am going to replace the Valve cover gasket. Would anyone happen to know what the torque specs are? I went through the search to see if anyone had posted anything and couldn't find it. I am a noob to the forum... if there is anything else that i need to add, just let me know... Thanks in advance. Yesterday's Danish
Haynes manual says 28 in-lbs if you're using RTV or 55 in-lbs if you're using a permanent gasket. Or do what I did and snug them up with a 1/4 inch ratchet.
