Currently in Waterloo on the last day of travel. Presented to john deere today on the SVO emissions and conversion. Toured the engine works (mostly producing 9L engines), the tractor assembly plant, and the R&D lab seeing all sorts of neato new things.

 

Learned a ton from the engine works tour, seeing all sorts of different things for reducing NOx and figured a couple of things out as well.

 

Had dinner with some JD folks and had a very interesting discussion with one of the guys about disabling of the EGR system.

 

Unfortunately, right off the bat they took my camera, was not allowed to take photos anywhere(particularly at the R&D labs and the engine works).

 

So out of 8 hours of tours I have one photo with the group in front of a deere statue.

 

 

 

Oh, and I did see one black CRD in the parking lot in the visitors section.
