nitroxsteve Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 When I opened my hood today the engine was cold and the top radiator hose was sucked shut. I released the suction from the coolant tank. My question is why did it hold a vaccum when the water cooled down? I didnt think the cap would let it. Is it a problem or is it the nature of the beast?
deziped Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 Do you have an open or closed cooling system. Could be an old deteriorated hose or rusted out spring in hose. Maybe your cap is shot.
