godchsr Posted February 5, 2010 Share Posted February 5, 2010 The 2.5" 4 spd manual Comanche I bought doesn't have a front shaft. Is it double cardan? From my measurements it appears to be 26.5" from center yoke to center yoke. Geonovast Posted February 5, 2010 Share Posted February 5, 2010 What year are you talking? 84-86 used a flanged CV joint to mount to the T-case. 87+ got a double cardan joint with the 231. Does your T-case have a flange, or a yoke? If you have the yoke, you can grab a front shaft from any 2.5 manual XJ/MJ. Automatic shafts will be a different length, as will 4.0 shafts.
