comanche87 Posted May 10, 2009 Share Posted May 10, 2009 i got a question. how much of a pain in the rear is it to replace that seal? its a 90 xj front diff. is it simple to replace or should i look into a simple rebuild instead? diff is also making some bearing noise. any help be sweet. redneck23ms Posted May 10, 2009 Share Posted May 10, 2009 well its not very difficult to do but it is time consuming. you have to pull the front axle completely apart to get the seal out and drive the new one in. and that would be a good time to fix your bearing issue Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
