Dave88 Posted March 6, 2009 Share Posted March 6, 2009 i have an 88 ford taurus and none of the windows go down nor up. i took off the door panel and tried to push the bars but nothing. its power windows, i can still hear the motor turning any ideas? i also tried to take the motor off and take a peek at it but its a pain. Car RamRod Posted March 6, 2009 Share Posted March 6, 2009 I had an 89 tempo years back and one of the motors went. There were these little plastic I guess you'd call them planetaries around the motor output shaft. They just crapped out one day. But for all 4 windows to go bad, I'd look for something else.
