BREEZE1
So I was thinking about boring my throttle body to 62mm but I would need a new plate. I know there not perfectly round they are more of an oval shape, because they are sitting at 8deg inside the tb. Or so ive been told. i was wondering if any body could give me a few dimensions. I need the diameter hole size and the distance from hole center to hole center. I have bored the taper off of my throttle body for my Comanche but its at my buddies house. I didn’t want to take the one off of my xj to measure it, but I will this weekend if no one can give me the dimensions I need. So if any body has an HO throttle body laying around and some calipers hook a bro up.
BREEZE1
This is an isometric view of the plate that I’ve modeled. You can see how I have it on an 8deg plane. The inside red sketch line is to show the 62mm bore of the throttle body. As you can see I have thrown the holes in there, but I don’t know the precise dimensions. BREEZE1
I can make my own; I was just trying to see if anyone knew the dimensions of the holes while I was at work. So I could plug the right ones in. then I could have gotten it cut out on the laser. :ack:
