cocco78
Well, my work truck blew its guts out of the transfer case last week and won't be getting fixed til later this week or whenever the parts come in. Just so happens over the weekend we got 8-10" of snow, and one of my work trucks duties is to plow the parking lot at the shop. So I made a deal with the boss and took the little MJ to work today and plugged along nice and easy and plowed the parking lot. It handled the snow no problem, chugged along and pushed some pretty big piles. I wish I would have taken some pics or video of plowing but i'm so impressed with how well it worked. The Meyer pump is a little slower than the Boss that i'm used to but I don't think it took any more time with my 6'6" blade than the 7'6" blade. Oh I upgraded the MJ to a 610cca batter and a 105a alt and it works great, the lights don't even dim when operating the plow. Panoramic picture of the parking lot http://i39.tinypic.com/5lartf.jpg The parking lot is probably 100' wide at its widest and 250'-300' long with only 3 spots I could push snow... oldrusty
Glad to hear shes working for you. Mine has done nothing but work for the last 2 weeks. Its amazing how much snow they'll push. What kind of fluid do you rum in your pump? I used to run atf in mine but have found that if you use the regular cold weather hydraulic fluid for the snowplows it will move alot faster when the temps get colder. cocco78
I just run the regular meyer stuff. It did run pretty slow last week below zero but I was just doing my drive so no big deal... I think overall the the E47 is a slow pump.
oldrusty
Yeah we have 2 plow trucks at work onw with a meyers and one with a western. The western is defiately quicker than the meyers e 47 pump.
