r.j.c.omanche
i had some disconnected vaccum lines when i bought my truck, and most of what was connected was rotten. so i traced as many as possible, but i have a few questions on a few that were previously disconnected. basically what does this 'solenoid' do? it's mounted on the passenger inner fender. '86 2.5L, 4wd, 4spd. Image Not Found and what does this blue colored vaccum line hook up to? it goes down to the t-case or t-case shifter with 4 other lines. Image Not Found any help is appreciated. aemsee
The blue one is just a vent line. At one time it had a square foam block covering the nipple. The other thing is some sort of vacuum control solenoid. Just looked in a 86 FSM and saw no mention of it, but I am missing the wiring diagrams. aemsee
Just looked some more. Could be your EGR/ charcoal canister solenoid?
