Wanker
If I were to trim the fenders on an MJ and lift it 4.5", around what size tire could I run?
Motion Offroad
Depends on the width of the tire, as well as the backspacing of the rim. Will also greatly depend on how much "trimming" you do. But with that said, you could run a 35" tire on a 4.5" lift.
project88mj
well that depends you could easly run 35" or even 38 :dunno: "... but they would rub and the dana 35 is a weak axle (or so ive been told) and i would use caution with tires over 33" :smart:
Wanker
Yeah, the Turdy-Five sucks it up. I have an 8.8 I'll be swapping when I convert it to 4WD. As far as wheels go I'll probably try to find a set of Canyons to use.
redneck23ms
here's a pic of mine. just got it back together today. has 4.5" coils with 2" spacer up front ans soa rear with 8.8. front is trimmed to the outised edge of where the stock flares were and rear is trimmed and folded. tires are 34"ltb's . i could easily clear 35-36's how it sits now. i might even pull out the spacers on the front.
