ICEBOX Posted August 29, 2008 Share Posted August 29, 2008 I ran into this with my cherokee and it was the conector from the harnes to the cps unit. one of the pins were loose. next time it dose it . jump out and wiggle the conector and have someone turning the motor over . let me know if this solved it for ya ! 8) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Where the CPS plugs into the chassis harness? Remember, I just installed a new CPS and the bypass harness directly to the ECU. I still have the standard connector between the CPS itself and the bypass harness, but the signal now does not go through the chassis harness. And the connector is brand new on both sides.
