Door Speaker Wiring

My MJ had an aftermarket Jenson installed. I removed the door panel to find one black and one white wire going to the speaker. I have new speakers out of a '96 XJ with one purple and one blue with a red stripe going to the new speaker. Which colors correspond? TIA

Update: I took apart the speaker on the driver's side of the '96 XJ (the purple and blue with red stripe wiring was from the passenger side) and I noticed that the wiring on the driver's side was green and brown with a red stripe. Also, the black wiring had a narrow terminal and the white wiring had a wider terminal. Thanks again. :cheers:

are the "new" speakers factory speakers or aftermarket? with aftermarket speakers the smaller terminal is the negative and the larger is the postive.
