    Hello, the other day my 98 swap MJ would not start. I finally tried putting it in neutral and it started right up. Drove it a couple days like this. So I guessed Neutral safety switch on trans. I checked it on the weekend and it was a little loose on the trans and could shift back and forth a 1/4 or less. we tried it both forward and back & it started, so we tightened it up in the middle of the range. If we made it too tight the gear shift would not move out of park. The issue was resolved for a few days, now every 10th start or so- no starter and I have to put it in Neural to start it again? Intermittent issue. Could this be a related cable issue? Anyone seen this before? Any help would be great...
